Mobile app or responsive web application

The first thing to think about is whether a mobile app is the best solution. A mobile app is found via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. A web application is instead accessed via the mobile phone's browser.

Both variants have advantages and disadvantages. Installing an app before using a service can be seen as an obstacle. However, there is functionality that an installed app can handle that cannot be solved with a web application (such as access to parts of the device's hardware). Take advantage of the phone's functions

A big reason for developing an app instead of a web application is that you can make use of functions on the phone. It can be shortcuts in the app icon, smart notifications or background jobs that check your location or connect to bluetooth devices.

React Native

React Native is a framework we use to develop cross-platform apps. This means that you can share the code base between iOS and Android (it is also possible to share with web applications and desktop applications).

Distribution

To release apps to Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store, accounts must first be created. Then you need to set up apps in the tools you have gained access to.
